Guide 10: The Extreme Food Revenue Jump Start Session
All of the examples and scenarios in the Food Money Machine series of articles have come from my work and “Food Money Machine” sessions with clients. I’ve lived growing food enterprises for more than three decades. If you are serious about your Food Company achieving or sustaining extreme revenue growth—growing your sales by 100% or more in the next twelve months—then I would encourage you to contact my office to be considered for a session. I will work with you to identify and focus your attention on the two or three actions you can take to trigger extreme revenue growth in your food company over the next twelve months. The emphasis is not on creating a laundry list of things to do to grow your company. The focus is on finding the one, two or, at most, three most important, lowest cost, and easiest to implement actions you can take to drive dramatic increases in food revenues. Here’s the idea behind these sessions: In every food business, there is always an unpolished diamond with untapped market revenue potential. It’s in virtually every business. Its untapped value is often overlooked or taken for granted by those who see it every single day. As an outsider with fresh eyes, it takes me anywhere from twenty minutes to two hours to find these unpolished diamonds. During the rest of the time, I’ll show you how I've helped others dig it up, polish it, and make more money from it. We will find new ways to add value to your food enterprise. In other words, I find the most profitable opportunity inside your food company, and I show you how to extract your time, money, and people away from the slower growth projects, shifting them to the highest growth opportunity within ninety days or less. Of course, it is not possible for every food company to achieve extreme revenue growth. Because of this, I have a fairly rigorous screening process for selecting which clients I’ll take on for an “Food Money Maker Jump Start” session. I do so because I want to be certain that my clients will get value from these sessions. The promise of finding just one to three actions you can take to double your sales in twelve months is a big promise. I advise my clients to make as big and unique a promise as they possibly can while still being able to deliver. I practice what I preach and do the same with my advisory work. However, the reality is there are certain types of clients and client situations where I know in advance I will not be able to deliver on this promise. So, to protect my track record and reputation, I decline these requests for the benefit of everyone involved. This also gives the clients I do accept the confidence that, despite the substantial fees involved with these sessions, they will get more than their money’s worth.
